Who We Are
Patti DeMatteis, RDH
Patti received her Dental Hygiene Degree from Western Kentucky University in 1972. After practicing twenty five years as a periodontal therapist, she founded Dental Hygiene Excellence in 1997 while living in Scottsdale, Arizona. Patti is a member of ADHA, ODHA, and CDHA and her passion for dentistry focuses on the fast paced movement of optimum oral care to optimum overall health care, prevention and wellness.
Lora Boukheir, BS, RDH, EFDA
Lora received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from The Ohio State University in 1995. She has continued to work in private practice as a periodontal therapist and dental hygiene consultant. Lora is a member of the ADHA, ODHA, and CDHA. She has served as Continuing Education Chair for the CDHA and as a liaison for the ODHA to the OSDB. Her passion lies in the advancement of dental hygiene.
Julie Payton, BS, RDH, EFDA
Julie received her Bachelor’s of Science in Dental Hygiene from The Ohio State University, as well as her EFDA certification in 2006. Julie currently practices as a periodontal therapist, which allows for a real world perspective in coaching. Her passion lies with current research in oral systemic health, and the power of educating patients.
